Dragon Ball Super: Broly Film Adds New Characters

The Dragon Ball Super: Broly film is set to introduce two brand new characters to the DB universe.

Chirai (pictured left) and Remo (right) will be associated with Broly, a new Saiyan who appears to face both Goku and Vegeta, the two Saiyans who believed they were the last of their kind (after the destruction of their home planet).

This marks the first animated feature in the Dragon Ball Super line and is essentially a reboot of the character Broly, as he first appeared in the 2003 movie Dragon Ball Z: Broly The Legendary Super Saiyan.

Original Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama pens the script and character designs for the new film, which sees Nana Mizuki voicing Chirai and Tomokazu Sugita as Remo. The English dub actors have yet to be announced.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly opens in Japan on December 14th 2018, while FUNimation will release the dub in select theaters in January 2019.
